These soft and chewy sugar cookies are one of my favourite basic cookie recipes. These easy cookies only have 8 ingredients, there's no chill time, and they're ready in 20 minutes or less! Bake for 9 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius) until the sides are lightly browned and the center appears undercooked.These dairy free sugar cookies are buttery, soft, and chewy with perfectly crisp edges.Make sure to press down on the dough mounds before baking. Place heaping tablespoonfuls of dough (approximately 2 TBSP each) on greased or ungreased baking sheets.Extreme mixing will result in dry, tough cookies. Put the mixer on pause while you stir in the flour, oats, and raisins until everything is evenly distributed.Mix in the egg, salt, and cinnamon until they are almost completely combined.Butter and brown sugar should be creamed together for about 4 minutes in a large basin using a hand mixer or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, until light and fluffy.Turn oven temperature up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 C).Cream butter and sugar in a separate bowl.Notes: Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies, Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
